Estate
This 1,200m² French Neoclassical Estate, set on a 3,200m² double lot, has been a long-term project spanning over five years. I’ve been deeply involved with the client from before the architectural plans were submitted for approval, right through to the placing the last flower in a crystal vase. The project has been a captivating journey, filled with custom designs and unique solutions at every turn. Many of the materials, fixtures, and finishes were sourced internationally, and the craftsmanship from each contractor has been of exceptional quality. Working at this high level of the residential market requires respecting my client’s privacy, and only sharing select glimpses of the project with their permission.
My Involvement in the Project:

Design consultation to refine the building’s exterior, ensuring it closely aligned with the client’s architectural vision.

Design of the electrical layout, covering the lighting scheme, all switches, power points, smoke alarms, sound systems, alarm systems and HVAC systems.

Close collaboration with contractors to ensure every detail of the build adhered to the chosen architectural style.

Design and international procurement of custom-made wrought iron front gates, arched front door, balustrades, and exterior decorative trims (including dentils, corbels, soffit trims, window sills, column bases, and capitals).

Sourcing and importing key interior elements such as doors, marble, ceiling and wall trims, furniture, the marble medallion for the entrance foyer, and marble fireplace surrounds.

Design of intricate coffered ceilings, including bulkheads, the dome in the entrance foyer, and all decorative ceiling mouldings.

Design and procurement of hallway arches, curved architraves, and double-volume pelmets, bespoke shelving and all window treatments for the estate.

Collaborative project management throughout the build.

Management of the Compliance Code Certificate (CCC) applications for all stages: Stage 1 (Groundworks), Stage 2 (Main Build), and Stage 3 (Landscaping, Swimming Pool, and Pool Cabana).
